10 Robot Women We'd Have Sex With

The best part of a recession is you can "project" just about anything, an idea that comes in handy when you're trying to pitch your part of the world to tourists and magazine editors. At a recent press conference to promote Australian tourism, futurologist (yeah we know) Ian Yeoman stated, "Robotics will become important, because you're going to have labor shortages in the future... Even robot "prostitutes'' that would not pass on diseases such as HIV could make an appearance."
Sounds good to us. Hey Ian: below is our list of top ten robot women we'd like to have sex with. If you can work on getting these made real, we'll book our tickets. Just let us know when the ladies are ready and we'll be there with a 10-page cover story, thanks...

Although these HD webcams would work just fine on Skype HD, the messenger service would not guarantee they will work well.

Panasonic Toughbook

If it ain't broke, don't fix it -- words Panasonic has clearly taken to heart with the Toughbook 19. It's time for the rugged, 10-inch convertible tablet to get its annual refresh and not much has changed visibly. Instead, the company gave its internals a boost with some Sandy Bridge goodness and slapped a new TransflectivePlus screen in this military-grade machine for computing in direct sunlight. Impressively, the Core i5 found inside is not of the ULV variety, it's a standard voltage 2520m powering this completely sealed, fanless design. Additionally, the Toughbook 19 now comes standard with 4GB of RAM and has a pair of SSD options for added durability. You'll be able to pick one up, and use it as a frisbee, in September starting at $3,349. While you wait, feel free to check out the PR after the break.

New LG P330

Well, look what we have here. It's the LG P220's big brother, the P330, and, as you can tell, good looks run in the family. Glancing at the spec sheet (after the break) it's pretty clear this guy has been hitting the gym -- there's plenty of muscle inside in the form of an NVIDIA GT 555m. This 13.3-inch laptop isn't just some meathead though, it's got brains to spare thanks to a Sandy Bridge class Core i7. But, that's not all -- it's also a sharp dresser that looks quite fetching in its magnesium and aluminum suit, and just try not to get lost staring into that beautiful IPS screen. We don't know how much you'll have to shell out to spend time with this svelte 3.6-pound beauty, but it should be making the retail rounds this September.

Samsung's Singapore division has a series of professional shots of planned accessories, including this "Samsung Galaxy S II Desktop Dock," a handsome pyramid stand sporting HDMI and 3.5mm stereo-out jacks -- and of course, an AT&T logo on its comfortably cradled smartphone. Nintendo Unveils Wii U Gaming Console

After weeks of speculation, Nintendo has finally unveiled its latest generation of gaming console. The Wii U features a large, touchscreen controller with buttons similar to current Wii controllers. The Wii U controller is just as motion-sensitive, but I doubt you would use it like a sword or tennis racket, but thankfully plain ol’ Wii controllers work just fine on the new console.

THQ uDraw GameTablet Gives Xbox 360 and PS3 the “Wii U Experience”

The introduction of Nintendo’s Wii U gaming system may have made some people wondering whether Microsoft and Sony would create their own touchscreen controllers, much like how the two companies created the Kinect and PlayStation Move, respectively, in response to Nintendo Wii’s motion gaming. Actually, they have, but with a gaming device created by a third party.
THQ comes up with the uDraw GameTablet, a slate device that would cater to both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Like the Wii U controller, it has a touchscreen display that also can be used for drawing and handwriting. Dell Streak 10 Pro Tablet to Debut in China

Dell has announced that its upcoming Streak 10 Pro tablet will be launched first in China this summer. Dell’s Vice President for mobile devices John Thode points to several “inhibitors and barriers to success” as its reasons why the tablet device would not debut in the United States where the company is based. These so-called inhibitors include mobile carriers dictating pricing models, which Thode says stifle the adoption of tablets.
The Dell Streak 10 Pro features a 10-inch screen with 1,280 x 800 resolution, an edge-to-edge glass surface, Android Honeycomb, NVIDIA Tegra dual-core processor, two cameras, a SD card slot, and 1080p video playback capability. A separate dock would allow the tablet to serve as a USB host, while its connectivity functions would expand to HDMI and Ethernet apart from USB.
