Toshiba Thrive Tablet

Toshiba has now entered into tablet territory by offering its new Toshiba Thrive Tablet. While other tablet makers have been making noises in the market with their own new models, it seems that Toshiba has been silently developing their own device. And it might just take those other makers by surprise.
Well, Toshiba hasn’t really been silent about it. But its previous ads surely was a tad bit mysterious, offering as little specifications of the tablet that those expecting it would want to know about. But now, here it is.

The Toshiba Thrive Tablet features a Tegra 2 processor and comes with a 10-inch touchscreen display with 1200 x 800 resolution. It also comes with a 5MP rear camera, a 2MP front camera, a USB, HDMI and an SD Card slot. And oh, it offers Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity and runs on the Android Honeycomb 3.1 OS. The Toshiba Thrive Tablet is expected to be available at Best Buy on June 13. Prices start at US$430.
