Surgeons use a robot called da Vinci to help the hernia operation, at the University Hospital of Geneva, in Geneva, Switzerland. University Hospital of Geneva opened the robot to the operating department in 2008, where between 50 and 80 surgeons from around the world will have the possibility to practice with the da Vinci every year.
